#Kara 2026 - Tamil Starring : Dhanush , Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mamitha Baiju, KS Ravikumar, Jayaram , Karunas and Prithivi Pandiyarajan Directed by Vignesh Raja  Plot : Kara (also called Karasaamy) is a former thief who has changed his ways. He returns to his village with his wife for a personal reason, but gets pulled into his father’s fight with a local bank. What starts as a small revenge heist soon turns into a much bigger problem. What happens next, and how Kara deals with it, is the rest of the story. Performance wise, this is an Out and out Dhanush performance. He embodies the role of Karasaamy and has done a fabulous job. Suraj Venjaramoodu is another showstealer. Though his character arc is half written, Suraj does justice to the character with his performance. Mamitha Baiju is not needed at all as even a serial artist could've done that role. Unnecessary casting. #Mr.X 2026- Tamil Starring : Aarya , Gautham Karthik, Manju Warrier , Athulya , Anagha , Raiza Wilson , Kaali Venkat & Sarathkumar  Directed by Manu Anand  Plot : A terrorist group gets hold of a nuclear device lost by India near Nanda Devi in the 1960s and captures a RAW agent guarding it. To recover both, the RAW chief sends agent Amaran Chakravarthy, but when the mission fails, she turns to Gautham, an agent from Chennai. As he investigates, he uncovers a major conspiracy linked to the G20 Summit in Chennai. How he and his team stop a nuclear disaster forms the rest of the story. Performance wise , Aarya as Gautham is fantastic. He looks and performs really well with some minor flaws here and there but nonetheless an earnest performance. Gautham Karthik as Amaran gets a layered and multi dimensional role which he does well but unfortunately feels like a miscast at times. #LIK - Love Insurance Kompany  2026 - Tamil  Starring: Pradeep Ranganathan, S.J.Suriyah, Krithi Shetty, Gouri Kishan, Seeman and Yogi Babu Directed by Vignesh Shivan Plot : Set in 2040, a world where an app called LIK decides who you’re meant to be with, Vasu believes love should be felt, not calculated. He falls for Dheema, a social media influencer who trusts the app’s Love Score more than her own instincts. But when LIK declares them incompatible, it slowly pulls them apart and leads to their breakup. Unable to accept that something as real as love can be reduced to numbers, Vasu sets out to fight back not just to win her back, but to prove that love can’t be defined by an algorithm, even if it means taking down LIK and its founder Suriyan itself. #Leader 2026- Tamil  Starring : Legend Saravanan , Shaam , Santhosh Pratap , Andrea Jeremiah, Lal , Payal Rajput and Amrita Aiyer Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar  Plot : Sakthivel lives peacefully with his daughter Irene in Thoothukudi. A dreaded gangster called Devil smuggles a mysterious container into the port and pulls him into chaos. As the police start digging into the case, they realise Sakthivel is not just an ordinary man, but someone who has a connection with the Devil himself. Who Sakthivel really is, what that connection is, and what’s inside the container and how Sakthivel stops Devil's Masterplan forms the rest of the story. Performance wise , Legend Saravanan as Sakthivel has done a fairly decent job. His performance is much better than his debut film. #ProjectHailMary English -2025 Starring : Ryan Gosling,Sandra Huller , James Ortiz and Lionel Boyce Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller Plot : Ryland Grace, a middle school science teacher, wakes up alone in a spaceship with no memory of how he got there. As he slowly pieces things together, he realizes that Earth is in danger. During his journey, he meets and befriends a rock-like alien named Rocky. The story follows how Grace and Rocky build an unlikely friendship and work together to save their planets. Performance wise , Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace is Phenomenal. He internalizes the character's loneliness , yearnings , fear and braveness and brings it on screen fantastically. Other than Ryan , cast members like Sandra Huller & Lionel Boyce get a very brief role and have performed really well. Out of these two , Sandra gives a more impressive performance.
