Plot : Post the events of Sooriyavanshi, Bajirao Singham arrests Omar Haafiz. Agitated by this , Omar's Grandson Jubair Haafiz aka Danger Lanka kidnaps Singham's Wife. Using the clues in Ramayana, Singham and his cop team embark on a mission to save Avni and fight Jubair.

Performance wise , Ajay as Singham is fit and fantastic. Though his character looks aged , his performance hasn't changed. Kareena Kapoor is clueless throughout the entire film and doesn't have much to do. Arjun Kapoor as Jubair is fantastic! Ranveer Singh as Simmba really lights up the screen whenever he arrives and is fun to watch. Deepika Padukone is horrible with her accent though her stunt sequences are pretty good (second half). Tiger Shroff does exactly what he does in Baaghi but here he does in Police Uniform that's it. Akshay Kumar as Sooriyavanshi is a blast , though his screentime was in a relatively lesser and smaller role he made the best out of it. Jackie Shroff wasted. Salman Cameo forced.

Technically the film struggles. The Iconic Themes of Singham , Simmba and Sooriyavanshi are copyrighted so they couldn't use it. Instead they went for a makeshift bgm by Ravi Basrur that was loud and unintentionally funny. Songs by Thaman are uninspiring and dull. Decent Cinematography by a Trio. Editing by Bunty was good. Horrible VFX especially at the climax felt so amateurish.

The film opens with J&K portions and then slowly moves into the Ramayana imitation portion where the film falls flat. With much large starcast and talented actors, the entire first half feels like a lag and is tiring. Post the Interval, With Simmba's entry the film picks up pace and goes on a pretty bearable note.

Talking about the negatives , the core plot of imitating Ramayana felt very dull and drab especially for a high octane franchise like this. The Cringeworthy sequences by Deepika were so horrible and unbearable. The entire first half just comes as random intros for each character. The dialogues by Milap Zaveri are unintentionally cliched and funny that instead of giving goosebumps, gives laughter. Lackluster Screenplay bogs down this what could've been an interesting film.

Seems like Rohit Shetty had decided I want to make an all 5 Supercops assemble sequence and i will write something surrounding it . That is exactly what has happened. The last 35 mins where all of them arrive and combine together and fight is a treat to watch on big screen , but to get that you've to bear and unbearable First half. While the Second half fares much better , when you come to Second Half you are already tired of the First half hangover. Singham Again is a mediocre attempt in the franchise that solely aims to introduce more new characters to the universe rather than focusing on taking the story/universe forward. You know a film is brutally bucked when you say Arjun Kapoor as the film's saving grace, that's exactly what Singham again is about.

4) Somewhat whistle worthy post credit cameo but dully made.

Overall: Singham Again is a decent no brainer mass masala cop drama that depends on the Cameos and high moments like character team ups to excite you rather than going in for an organic story or anything. Go for Theatre if you want to watch something for timepass.
