2024-Hindi - Theatre
Starring : Akshay Kumar , Tiger Shroff , Prithviraj Sukumaran , Sonakshi Sinha , Alaya F , Manushi Chillar and Ronit Roy
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar
Plot : When A Masked Enemy Steals India's Advanced Weapon , Colonel Azad Appoints his Two Court-Martialed Armed Force Officers to track down the Package And Retrieve it. Who is the Masked Enemy? What is his Motive? And what is his connection with the Two Court-Martialed Officers Codenamed as Bade Miyan & Chote Miyan forms the Rest of the Story.

Performance wise , Akshay looks a bit old perhaps that is what the role demands maybe. His One liners work and his Actions are pretty decent. Tiger on the other hand is flexible but his forced humour works as a hit and miss at places. Prithviraj as Antagonist Kabir gets a half written one sided role where Prithvi tries to bring uniqueness but the half baked writing doesn't allow him to. Sonakshi & Manushi Chillar get a Meaty role yet short one and have performed well. Alaya F is horrible whenever she appears on screen.

Technically, The film is an Average Product. While VFX at some places are pretty good , largely they are shoddy and funny. Music by Vishal Mishra isn't that great either except for Mast Malang Jhoom. Julius Packiam's Score also wasn't helping much. Editing, especially in the Second Half could've been much crisper. Cinematography by Marcin is pretty substandard. Special Mention to Art Department.
The Biggest Plus of the Film is the Chemistry Between the Duo of Akki and Tiger that actually somewhat works off. The Entire First Half completely depended on their chemistry and screen presence. The First Half actually goes on a pretty substandard note but largely comes off as entertaining. Action Sequences (though Over the Top at Times) are designed wonderfully. Pretty Decent Interval Bang .
On the Flipside, The Film suffers from Terrible Predictability and Insipid Writing. For a Film that completely depends on Antagonist's Motive ,The Antagonist Arc is Written poorly and ineffectivly.
A Film that is meant to be Nail Biting becomes weak due to its Predictable Second Half and very unintentionally funny sequences.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar has taken the inspiration from many Buddy Films like Hobbs & Shaw and Badboys and has tried to infuse the Patriotic Spy Thriller Angle on it which honestly only works partially. Though some Ideas would've looked great on paper , their execution fails to meet up to the mark. Action wise the film is strong , but unfortunately beyond that there is Zero Emotional Connect. The Patriotic Dialogues seemed to have been force fed.
Highlights :
1)London Tunnel Sequence
2)Few Callbacks to Akshay's Old Movies
3) Interesting Pre Interval Chase
4)Few Counters here and there by Tiger

Overall : BMCM is a decent action comedy film that is only watchable because of Akshay - Tiger's Chemistry here and there. Even a Talented Actor like Prithvi couldn't salvage this substandard Action Comedy Film .
