#Tiger 3 Review

#Tiger3
Hindi - 2023
Starring : Salman Khan , Katrina Kaif , Emraan Hashmi , Simran, Kumud Mishra and Revathi
Directed by Maneesh Sharma

Plot : Tiger and Zoya unknowingly cross paths with a common old nemesis named Aatish Rehman who is power hungry and wants revenge against Tiger And Zoya. How they both uncover his Conspiracy and save Pakistan from him forms the rest of the crux.

Salman as Tiger does what Salman Khan does best. Beating, Kicking and Saying Punch Dialogues. Katrina on the other hand as Zoya is a delight to watch when she performs Stunt Sequences. Emraan Hashmi as Aatish gets a feisty intro and a strong arc but that becomes stereotypical beyond a point. Supporting Artists retained from Tiger Zinda Hai including Kumud Mishra are decent. Revathi's character as the new R&AW head is so caricaturishly crafted. Simran gets a decent role and performs average .

Technically the film is average. Pritam's Songs don't give the impact but he's given some good BGMs. Cinematography by Anay is decent but unfortunately the Editing by Rameshwar is choppy at times. Average VFX.

Writer Aditya Chopra has taken an age old Cliched plot and has tried to insert the Typical Spy-Universe template into it but only succeeds partially. Director Maneesh has managed to make the film new and that also works only partially.
SRK 's Cameo is fun but it's largely artificial. The stunt sequences here and there are great but the over the top Sequences could've been easily avoided.

Talking about the Negatives, the film suffers from a lack of a new and innovative screenplay. The film proceedings are so generic that beyond a point you can guess what comes next. The Most Awaited SRK Cameo sequence lead was fun... But the execution was lazy and all over the place.A Stretched out and Elaborate Final Act plays a spoilsport.

Highlights :
1) Katrina Sauna fight scene
2) Unexpected Interval sequence
3) SRK fun Cameo
4) Emraan's Terrific Acting at parts
5)Post Credit scene

Overall : Tiger 3 is generic Spy Drama that is shouldered by Salman's Terrific Screen Presence and Katrina's action. Can be watched once but with reservations. Don't expect a film like War or Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is like a grounded version of Pathaan.
