Plot: Mark ,A Timid Mechanic in 90s gets a Time Travel phone that let's him call to Past and change things. With this , he decides to stop his Mother's Murder which was committed by his Father Antony, a dreaded gangster in 70s. What Happens next , what all are the shocking revelations Mark Learns and what role does Jacky Pandian (Antony's Crime Partner) play forms the rest of the crux.

Vishal is surprisingly good as both Mark and Antony. His variations are great . But the True Showstealear is SJS who excels both the role of Jackie Pandian and Madhan Pandian. His One Liners , Body Language and his Reactions are just humorous and outstanding. Ritu Varma as Heroine has literally no role. Sunil in a Supporting Role is great. Abhinaya in a small role is really fantastic! Selvaraghavan is funny whenever he appears.

Technically a Good Film. Though GV Prakash's Songs don't create much impact , His BGMs are loud but effective. Editing by Vijay Velukutty is perfect as it doesn't confuse the plot. Camera work by Abhinandhan is good. Special Mention to the Art Department for recreating that 70s Bar and Bus. Also Special Mention to Stunt Choreographers for the Bus Fight and Club Fight. VFX good.

One the Downside, the film takes its own time to get to the main plot. Also some of the twists are predictable and few scenes especially in the second half do remind of SJS previous film Maanaadu. Though there are only 3 songs , the placement of it is really bad and awkward.

Director Adhik has tried to take a complex Sci-fi plot and spun a Fun Filled Gangster Story around it and it actually works largely. The film is a big departure from what Adhik usually resorts too. The film doesn't have any Adult Content at all. The Simplification of Time Travel Concept actually works fantastically. Ofcourse there are some minor hiccups here in there in terms of screenplay, but Adhik's Treatment of not taking the Gangster Film too seriously works here in a unique way .
Also personally i felt , Adhik could've handled Y.Gee.Mahendran role in a better way.
But otherwise the film is a fun comedy caper especially in the second half where SJS and Vishal just create comedic chaos!

Overall: Mark Antony is a fun Time Travel Comedy that has it's own flaws but works largely due to terrific performance bt S.J.Suriyah and Vishal

One day, Kural confesses her love to Agan, but he rejects her, saying he never saw her that way. Heartbroken, Kural leaves the city for higher studies.
