Plot : Jamie Reyes , returns to his hometown Palmera City after Graduation and unknowingly gets involved with Kord Industries and a Mysterious scrab. Weileded with Scarabs Power , how Jamie and his family fight Kord Industries and its Evil Owner Victoria Kord forms the rest of the crux.

Perfomance Wise , Xolo as Jamie is really good. His humour sense and dialogue delivery is great. Bruna as his love interest does a decent job. Rest of the cast of include Jamie's Family characters in which Jamie's Uncle Rudy , Nana and Milagrow played by George Lopez , Adrianna and Bellissa steal the show. Susan as Antagonist gets a very arch typical role . Average performance. Same goes with Raol Max too. Becky G who voiced Khaji Da is really good.

Technically the film is standard neither great not bad. The VFX sees a bit dip here and there. But the Music of the film stands tall . Special Appreciation to Bobby Krlic. Cinematography and Editing is standard.

Director Angel Manuel Soto has done a really good job in Introducing a new and lesser known Hero to Live Action film for the first time. The film also subtly speaks about Representation of Foreign culture (Latin Culture) and it's definitely not too forced or artificial. A Fantastic Idea by Director and The Studio. The film also talks a lesser talked Family Side of every Superhero. That stretch seemed new and unique at places.

On the Downside, the film has all the negatives that All Superhero Films in general have. The Base Setting and Progression of the film falls on the genre cliche. Also the film becomes predictable at times. 
As a Film on the whole it works beyond all the negatives. This film's sole aim is entertainment and the film delivers it.

Overall : A Regular Superhero Drama Film infused with Family Emotions and Representation with its heart in the right place. Will definitely work for all DC Fans, For regular and normal Superhero Fans the film might work partially.
