On this journey, Ethan crosses path with a Ghost from his Past who calls himself as Gabriel. How Ethan stops the AI forms the rest of the crux

Tom Cruise is born to play Ethan Hunt. His Energy and Speed at Age 61 is Spelbounding. Massive Respect for performing all his stunts on his own. Hayley Atwell as Grace is both hilarious and Fantastic in her role. Next Showstealer is Vanessa Kirby as White Widow . With limited screenspace she has given her best. Ving Rhames , Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson return as Series usuals and have done their part well. Esai Morales as Gabriel gets a decent role. His character past and motives are kept in wraps for part 2 so audience couldn't connect with him much.

Technically, the movie is Strong in all aspects. Cinematography by Fraser Taggart is fantastic. The way he showcased various landscapes were good. Though there isn't much use of music , Lorne Balfe's Rendition of MI theme gives more power to the sequence. Editing by Eddie Hamilton could've been much sleeker at Talkie places but are very powerful and fantastic in Stunt Set Pieces. Massive Respect and Love to the whole Stunt Choreography team for such visually surreal stunts. Practical Effects are well managed. 

On the Flipside , many storylines that are opened in Part 1 are left abruptly to be continued in Part 2. Also beyond a point the film seems like it was wantedly stretched to make it as 2- Parter. 

Writers Christopher and Erik Jendersen have taken the base core of every MI movie and given a New Age twist and it works fantastically. Fallout by Christopher McQuairre was considered as one of the Best Action films of all time , but Dead Reckoning has outdone it.

Director Christopher McQuairre has managed to design a stylish spy thriller with massive stunt pieces that are terrifically choreographed. Each and every sequence are so carefully designed that land as Nail Biting sequences. Even with Minor Level of Flaws , The Film's negative is all undermined by a powerful Perfomances from the cast and visually stunning stunt set pieces.

Overall : Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 is a Bombastically writen and well made spy thriller that every Action Movie Lovers must watch in the big screen possible.

If not Imax, atleast watch it in the biggest screen possible.

PS : The Film works as a Standalone Film too ... But you'll get a better understanding if you watch the Previous 6 Films
