Plot: Kumaran a 15 year old boy from Veeranoor gets stuck by a lighting and moves to Singapore for Treatment. After Few Years of his Recovery, he comes back to his Village with an Ulterior Motive. What is the motive? And what effect did that Lighting Strike have on this life and who is he fighting against forms the rest of the story.

Aadhi has shown maturity in Acting and has improved a bit..still has to improve a lot. Aadhira wasted No role just a side character. Vinay as the Antagonist is so lazily written and is very less impactful. More than Vinay , his brother character gets a meatier role. Nakkalites Sasi gives a organic and good debut , his chemistry with Aadhi is great. Kaali Venkat and Munishkanth are the showstealers with their stellar chemistry and sillily written humour works fantastically.

Deepak D Menon's Cinematography is good. Editing by Prasanna GK could've been much crispier especially in the second half. Music by Aadhi is very forgettable. Songs are okayish but BGMs are too good ! Unique, experimantal and fun to hear. The Minimal Usage of VFX (only for Lighting Bolt) makes the film even more natural and organic.

Director ARK has chosen a Unique Concept of a Village Superhero and hasn't deviated from what he wants to convey. The film subtly touches upon concepts like Crowd Mentality , Blind Beliefs, Science vs Faith , importance of Local Deities , etc but none of them are preachy. The Film works on the lines of a light hearted coming of a age super hero comedy rather than labelling it as a Superhero Action Adventure film. The Elevations given to Veeran(Hip Hop Aadhi) feels good as it consistently maintains a meter and doesn't try to glorify him as a Savior nor a man without any weak points.

On the downside, the Antagonists are sketched so poorly. They are so generic that they  neither pose a threat nor do brilliant stuff to over power the Protagonist. Vinay as Main Villain hardly gets some 20-25 mins screentime in this 2 and half hour movie. Also The 2nd Half had so many stretched out comedy sequences that can be trimmed.

Overall: Veeran is a pretty decent Commercial Superhero film that works out largely due to its Uniqueness and Quirkily Written whacky humour.

One day, Kural confesses her love to Agan, but he rejects her, saying he never saw her that way. Heartbroken, Kural leaves the city for higher studies. Later, Agan realizes he truly loves her and goes to win her back, only to find that she has fallen for another man, Paari.
