#Transformers : Rise of The Beasts Review
#Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Starring : Anthony Ramos , Dominique Fishback and Voice Acting by Ron Perlman , Peter Dinklage , Micheal Yeoh and Peter Cullen
Directed by Steve Caple Jr.
Plot : Set roughly 8 years after the events of Bumblebee , the film follows story of Autobots aided by Maximals who fight against the Terracons and their leader Unicron
Anthony Ramos as Noah is Great. His comic timing and reactions work. Dominique As Elena is good. Voice Acting by Autobots, Terracons and Maximals are fantastic. Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal stand out from all . Special Mention to Pete Davidson who voiced Mirage.
The Film is Technically strong. The VFX was really good and comparatively much better than the Series Previous Outing Bumblebee. Music by Jongnic Bontemps is good and amps up the Sequence even more. The Final Usage of Arrival to Earth by Steve Jablonsky is outstanding. The Climax Setup and Final Fight is fantastically designed and and played on Screen with great music and special effects.
Though the film focuses primarily on the Autobots & Terracons , the Human Angle is also fleshed out neatly. The Human Emotional Angle given to Noah and Elena works out really well. The Emotional Angle and undercurrent Constant Need by Autobots is also captured beautifully without portraying neither Humans nor Autobots as Selfish. The Maximals introduced also get a great arc and their impact on Autobots paved way for what we have seen already (The Bay Trilogy).
On The Flipside, the film takes a tad bit time to get into the main core plot. And as usual the film is predictable at places. And for those who do haven't seen The previous films , the film might or might not work due to its too much reliance on the Lore introduced in Previous Films. But the film's fast paced screenplay and several fan service moments make up for all these flaws.
Overall : Transformers : Rise of The Beats is a terrific return to Form by Transformers Series. Though it is not upto Initial Bay films , this film touches it's Standards on its own !
Rating : 3.75-4/5
PS : Watch for the Mind-blowing Final Scene
