Plot : Suriya , an Youngster comes to Rudravanam, a small Hamlet to sell his Land . In this process he learns about some Mysterious Deaths that occur in Village. Due to unfortunate reasons , Suriya gets stuck in the Village for 8 days and decides to solve this case of deaths once and for all.

Sai Dharam Tej is back. He is the heart and soul of this film...he shed his entire Mass Image and has played very subtly. Samyuktha gets a Really Meaty Role and has performed really well ! A Career best performance. Rest of cast all get medium roles and perform really well.

The Film is technically strong and sleek. Film's Music by Ajneesh Loknath is good. Good BGMs and Good Cinematography by Shamdat is really good and captivating. Navin Noolis Editing could've been sharper at places. Special Mention to film's Realistic Sounding which was beyond words.

Karthik Varma Dandu's Core plot is very old but the treatment he has used  around it is very unique and interesting. The Film's Romantic Portion and Song comes as a Speed Breaker in the first 40 mins..but then the film picks up speed and goes really fast till Interval. 

Interval with an interesting sequence. The Second half dips a bit in the screenplay rush but the interesting and unexpected revelation make it a fantastic watch. Though the climax was a bit stretched and over the top , the ending is well perceived . All thanks to Sukumar's Massive Screenplay. Though the film has some Predictable Sequences , it is all overlooked by A Really Good Second Half.

Overall : Virupaksha is a fantastic Mystical Horror Thriller that is new , refreshing and scary at times. The Film is only to be experienced in Big Screen as soon as possible !
