Plot : Shakthi , a Undercover Cop is assigned to infiltrate AGR , A Mine Mafia's Gang to get information regarding the Missing Chief Minister of the State. Once he enters , his perspective towards AGR changes.

STR as AGR is majestic and brutal. He puts forth a Convincing and Mature Perfomance. Gautham Karthik as Shakthi is subtle yet powerful , but still needs to emote better at places. GVM gets a weak Antagonist role and performs average. PBS is good but doesn't have much scope. Other characters like Anu Sithara, Santhosh Pratap , Redin , Manushyaputhran ,etc get small roles and have done a decent job.

Farook J Basha's Cinematography Stands out at times. His angles and movements are unique and cool sometimes. Praveen KL decent editing.
PS Ramakrishna Dialogues are good.
ARR Music is good but BGMs are extraordinary. Another saviour of the film. Namma Satham was extraordinary on screen and AGR intro/interval bgm


This film being an Official Adaptation of Kannada Movie MUFTI clearly manages to be different. Krishna's Taking on the plot is good and the changes are evident. Krishna's Screenplay is engaging.

On the flip side the film takes time to setup.The entire first half is taken to set-up AGR. Also the character arcs aren't etched out properly. Some character arcs are either incomplete or rushed. And mainly the finale was Underwhelming with a very weak and Predictable Also the Sibling Drama could've been conveyed better.

Overall : Pathu Thala is a Decent Class Gangster Film that has it's highs but tries to stay normal at times .

#Dude 2025 - Tamil Starring : Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, Sarathkumar, Neha Shetty, Rohini , Hridhu Haroon and Dravid Directed by Keerthiswaran  Plot : Agan and Kural, cousins and childhood best friends, run an event management company together. One day, Kural confesses her love to Agan, but he rejects her, saying he never saw her that way. Heartbroken, Kural leaves the city for higher studies. Later, Agan realizes he truly loves her and goes to win her back, only to find that she has fallen for another man, Paari. However, Kural’s father opposes their relationship due to caste differences and even threatens to kill her if she doesn’t marry Agan.
