Avatar Review

#Avatar:WayOfTheWater
2022-English
Directed by James Cameron
Starring :Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana , Sigourney Weaver , Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet

Plot: Set after a decade of Avatar , Jake Sully now settled with Neytiri faces a new wrath in the form of Miles Quartrich who has been resurrected in a Na'vi body now. To escape from him and save his family, Jake seeks refugee at Metkayinas The water people. The rest Story is about his Metkayinas and Jake together stop Miles from colonizing Pandora

As Na'vi evryone has really done a good job with the Motion Capture. Sam Worthington and Zoe have done a great job but the Showstealers are Britiain Dalton and Sigourney Weaver who play Lo'ak and Kiri. Stephen Lang as Miles is terrific.

Cinematography by Russel Carpenter is fantastic! The way he captures the locations in CG are beautiful. Music by Simon Farangel is also good.

The Biggest Plus point of the film is the extensive and immersive Graphics that the film boasts. The Beautifully Designed Characters and setting are visually mesmerizing. And the 3D effects are fantastic.
On the Downside the film takes a lot of time to set up . The World Building and character building almost takes up the entire first hour . The film's base story is also not that innovative or new , it's just a regular revenge story . Also beyond a point the minute detailing level becomes tedious .

James Cameron's Vision is terrific and he has achieved it completely. The film has it's flaws but the immersive Cinematic experience makes it forget it all.

Overall : Avatar : The Way of Water is a worthy sequel that lives up to the legacy built by the original. The film is more emotionally rooted than part 1 and has a lot of spellbounding visual effects. Once in a Lifetime Cinematic Experience that has to be witnessed in Imax 3D alone !

Rating : 4/5
